The OIF’s 2009 Prix des cinq continents: nominations are underway

All information regarding the 2009 edition of Prix littéraire des cinq continents is now available on the Organisation internationale de la Francophonie website. Created in 2001 by the OIF, this award goes to a novel that expresses a specific cultural experience that enriches the French language.

Open to French-language writers at any point in their career, the Prix des cinq continents de la Francophonie promotes the diversity of cultural and literary expression in French on all five continents.

Novels published between March 1, 2008, and March 1, 2009, may be nominated. Publishers can submit nominees no later than March 31, 2009.

The 2008 Prix des cinq continents de la Francophonie was awarded to Franco-Tunisian writer Hubert Haddad for his novel Palestine (Éd. Zulma).
