The Global Alliance for Cultural Diversity reports that the International Dance Council (CID) has issued a call for participants for the World Congress on Dance Research and the 18th General Assembly of the CID to be held in Malaga, Spain, July 15 to 19, 2009.
The Congress is organized by the Delegation of Spain and the Malaga Section of the International Dance Council, in collaboration with CID. The event is also a trade fair intended primarily for professionals who wish to informally interact with others in the field of dance.
All forms of dance are represented and over 500 conferees from around the world are expected to attend. The program will include research reports, lectures, classes, performances, video projections, exhibitions, and visits, among other activities.
Individuals wishing to give a presentation should email a brief abstract before May 30 to email@example.com.
