The International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) has announced that the 19th call for project proposals for the Fonds francophone des inforoutes is now open. The deadline for submissions is March 4, 2011. According to the OIF:
"To boost the presence of the French language in the digital world and meet the needs of developing countries, the International Organization of La Francophonie supports the production of digital content and applications through Fonds francophone des inforoutes.
The fund's mission is to promote ITCs in southern countries and central and eastern Europe by funding, through calls for proposals, multilateral initiatives to produce French-language content that dovetails with the Francophonie's main aims. The Fonds provides financial support in the form of grants."
All documents and information required to apply are available by contacting the OIF or visiting its website.
