The Commonwealth Foundation has just published the final report from the Commonwealth Foundation seminar, “Sharing Strengths: Commonwealth and Francophone Engagement with the UNESCO 2005 Convention,” held in London on March 11, 2008. The event was organized by the Commonwealth Foundation in collaboration with the Québec Government Office in London. Some thirty specialists from UNESCO, the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF), and government and cultural representatives from across the Commonwealth gathered to discuss the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
