Yearbook 2012. Cinema, Television, Video and Multimedia in Europe

Since 1995, the Yearbook of the European Audiovisual Observatory has been providing a synthesis of basic data on the audiovisual scene (film, television, and video) in 38 European countries as well as Japan and the United States. The Yearbook comes in trilingual form (English, French, German), with extensive graphs and a synthesis of recent trends in the audiovisual sector.

With its completely revised concept, the Yearbook is now composed of two volumes:

  • Volume 1 is dedicated to 38 national audiovisual media landscapes across Europe (publishing for January 2013);
  • Volume 2 is the thematic approach to audiovisual media across Europe (publishing for February 2013).

To order the Yearbook 2012, please visit the European Audiovisual Observatory website.

Set up in 1992, the European Audiovisual Observatory is the only centre of its kind to gather and circulate information on the audiovisual industry in Europe. The Observatory is a European public service body with 39 member States and the European Union, represented by the European Commission.
