Release of the French Foreign Culture Network’s first newsletter

The French Foreign and European Affairs Minister announced that August 1, 2008, marked the release of the first electronic newsletter of the network of French foreign culture organizations: “the cultural centers and institutes, as well as the Alliances Françaises, who, in collaboration with cultural departments of the French embassies, put their talents and energy into serving the interests of cultural diversity through the establishment of multiple partnerships.”

The press release notes that these organizations, in addition to their permanent activities—which include fostering cultural cooperation, promoting study in France, and teaching and promoting the French language—organize many tens of thousands of events every year, including exhibitions, concerts, film and dance festivals, live shows, scientific conferences and debates, talks by writers, sporting events, etc.

We invite you to consult the electronic newsletter of the French Foreign Culture Network to learn more about its activities.
