The Canadian Coalition for Cultural Diversity launches three new publications
The Canadian Coalition for Cultural Diversity just launched three new publications:
- Profiles of Coalitions for Cultural Diversity presents an overview of actions taken by 22 of the most active national coalitions of the International Federation of Coalitions for Cultural Diversity (IFCCD). It is a collection of exemplary practices in a variety of fields like trade negotiations, threatened cultural expressions, cultural policies, and international cooperation. It is available in English, French, and Spanish.
- Funding Sources for Cultural Initiatives in ACP Countries presents, in French and in English, some 35 funding sources that complement the UNESCO International Fund for Cultural Diversity for cultural projects undertaken by civil society groups in developing countries in Africa, Latin America, and the Asia-Pacific.
- Presenting Artists from the South – Inspiring Initiatives is a compilation of good practices in promoting cultural expressions from developing countries by civil society groups from all parts of Canada. These projects facilitate the mobility of artists from the South to developed countries, contributing to the implementation of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
