The first issue of the magazine International Culture University in Zimbabwe (ICUZ) came out in September.
Published by Nhimbe, the launch issue explores the challenges of preserving the right to cultural expression in contemporary African society and describes the current status of this issue in Zimbabwe. It specifically addresses the fields of dance, media, theatre, and the national budget allocated to culture.
The first issue is available online on the Arterial Network website.
Nhimbe is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for artists and arts organizations. It has contributed to formulating Zimbabwe's National Plan of Action for Arts and Culture (NPAAC).
