Launch of the UNESCO 2018 Global Report Re|Shaping Cultural Policies

On December 14, 2017, the UNESCO 2018 Global Report Re|Shaping Cultural Policies: Advancing creativity for development was launched at UNESCO Headquarters in the context of the eleventh session of the Intergovernmental Committee. This second edition analyzes the progress made in implementing the Convention since the first report was published in 2015.

Analysis of the results according to four objectives

  1. Support sustainable cultural governance systems
  2. Achieve a balanced exchange of cultural goods and services and increase mobility
  3. Include culture within sustainable development frameworks
  4. Promote human rights and fundamental freedoms

Features of the report

This new report highlights innovative measures in the digital environment, as well as measures to facilitate the mobility of artists and promote exchanges between Parties.
