Mbagnick Ndiaye, Senegal’s Minister of Culture and Communications, announced the establishment of a national committee for the promotion and protection of cultural diversity on February 1. Committee members are all involved in the cultural sector and tasked with drafting the quadrennial reports required of all States Parties to the Convention on Senegal’s behalf. Quadrennial reports describe the Parties’ implementation of the Convention and provide an opportunity to share and discuss best practices.
