Launched on December 15, 2017, in Yaoundé, Cameroon, Fonds pour la jeune création francophone aims to foster the emergence of new directors and producers and support them in their projects, whether at the development, production, or post-production stage. This selective assistance program is intended to support creative vitality in various sectors, including cinema, audiovisual series, and Web content. The operational, administrative, and financial management of the Fund is provided by the Generation Films collective based in Burkina Faso.
The Fund is the result of an initiative of Francophone partners from France, Wallonia-Brussels, Québec, Belgium, and Canada.
