"How to Harness Information and Communication Technologies for the Audio-Visual Industry and Public Service in Developing Countries". Such is the theme of a Regional Expert Meeting Organized by the Government of Singapore which will be held from February 28 to March 1st in Singapore within the framework of the Jodhpur Action Plan (India) 2006. This is the third and final phase of a two-year global UNESCO project on this theme.
Participants at this Regional Expert Meeting will discuss guidelines and strategies in broadcasting and audio-visual policy as well as strategies for leaders and decision-makers. They will also develop mechanisms to support research and emerging creators in the Asian audio-visual field.
