The Fonds francophone de production audiovisuelle du Sud has issued a call for projects to promote artistic and audiovisual creation in southern member states of the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF).
The fund is a multilateral francophone funding mechanism created in 1988 under the joint responsibility of OIF and the International Council of French-Language Radio and Television (CIRTEF). In 2008, the Fund will have 2.2 million euros to share equally between cinema and television projects.
As of this year, two selection sessions will be organized annually. The first session for 2008 is already over, and the second underway. The deadline for submitting files is July 31, 2008. Proposals will be examined in November 2008.
