The July 26, 2009 edition of OCPA News announces that the French version of Guidelines for the Design and Evaluation of National Cultural Policies in Africa has been published.
“One of the main aims of the Observatory of Cultural Policies in Africa (OCPA) is to act as a resource hub, providing research-based information, methodological support, and consultation services for formulating and analyzing public policy in Africa,” reads the newsletter.
“In order to meet this objective, OCPA also adapts and develops methodological instruments for policy formulation and evaluation in response to the needs of cultural policy-making bodies.
