Visiting artists from the South : representatives from francophone countries take the stage in France and Great Britain

Artists from a number of southern francophone countries are scheduled to appear at Les Francophonies en Limousin (Limoges, France, September 23 to October 2) and London's Dance Umbrella (Great Britain, October 6–30) thanks to the support of Organisation internationale de la Francophonie (OIF).

"Dance companies Ea Sola (Vietnam), Salia ni Seydou (Burkina-Faso), and Diba danse (Democratic Republic of Congo), as well as the theater group Blonda (Mali), rap artist Pasnas (DRC) and musical group Nsumuenu (DRC) will take the stage during the 27th Francophonies en Limousin festival (Limoges, France, September 23 to October 2) thanks to the support of Organisation internationale de la Francophonie. The OIF will also make it possible for Congolese choreographer Faustin Linyekula and his Studio Kabako to perform their new creation "More More More… Future" at London's Dance Umbrella festival (Great Britain, October 6–30, 2010).

Every year, some sixty festivals welcome shows and performances by artists from francophone countries in the South, and some thirty tours are made possible by the fund to support travel by southern artists," states OIF.
