On November 23 the Planning, Strategy, Evaluation, and International Relations Office of Portugal's Ministry of Culture organized a seminar entitled "How to Promote the Mobility and Internationalization of Cultural Workers in Lisbon."
Among the subjects addressed were the main obstacles to mobility that cultural workers encounter, the importance of mobility in the cultural sector, and ways of promoting the internationalization of artists and cultural workers.
The seminar was presented in the form of a debate initiated by Portugal's Ministry of Culture, where the Portuguese public together with experts, academics, artists, and representatives of international organizations such as TransArtists, Office National de Diffusion Artistique (ONDA), Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme, and On the Move were invited to take part in the discussion.
One of the highlights was the participation of António Pinto Ribeiro, a national expert member of the working group that wrote a report for the European Commission on the mobility of artists and culture professionals.
