First round of technical assistance missions

In our March 7 News Bulletin, we reported on the call for applications for technical assistance missions launched by the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as part of a project funded by the European Union (EU) that aims to strengthen the system of governance for culture in developing countries.

Following the open call for application, the City of Buenos Aires, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the Seychelles have been selected by the project’s Steering Committee as the first beneficiaries of technical assistance missions, having submitted applications demonstrating an institutional, political, and financial commitment.

For more information on these three applications and the technical assistance project, visit the UNESCO website.
