The Institut français has just launched a new program of cultural and language stays entitled CultureLab. This new youth mobility program gets under way in May with opportunities in the realm of film, theater, music, visual and digital arts, and discussion and debate.
The program is aimed at young francophiles around the world interested in working in culture and will provide basic theory, and chance to experiment and practice during one or two weeks in France. The visit is intended to encourage participants to pursue their studies in the cultural realm in a francophone program.
The CultureLab program will replace the “International Youth Meetings” and be run by cultural associations preselected by Institut français. Between May and September 2012, some 250 to 300 participants aged 18 to 30 will take part, chosen by consular and diplomatic posts from around the world.
