Over the last few weeks, the U40 International Network has been updating its website. The Network was founded as a forum for younger (under 40) professionals in the cultural field to help implement the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions
U40 is an independent civil society organization that elicits debate and ideas to be used in framing cultural policies that consider cultural diversity throughout the world. The network is made up of young professionals, civil servants, students, experts, and cultural managers. Its activities in the world's many regions help it target the needs of local communities and embrace regional cooperation in the cultural sector.
