Support for young talent

The Swiss cultural foundation Pro Helvetia has launched a program to support up-and-coming artists. The goal is to open the door to national and international careers for young Swiss artists from all disciplines in the first five years after they complete their studies.

The initial years following formal education can be decisive in an artist's career. That is where Pro Helvetia comes in. In fact, it has been assigned this task under the new legislation on culture promotion.

The foundation's program will provide support to Switzerland's most talented artists aged 35 and under in the first five years after they graduate from an art academy or after their first public appearance, such as a reading or exhibition. Pro Helvetia has developed a wide array of measures in all disciplines, in collaboration with experienced partner organizations like festivals, musical groups, galleries, and art academies renowned in Switzerland and abroad.
