A call for papers has been launched in preparation for the international workshop "Audiovisual sector in the digital age: Policies and strategies for diversity" to be held in Madrid November 5 to 7, 2014. This event is part of the research project "Cultural diversity and the audiovisual sector: Best practices and indicators." Almost ten years after the adoption of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, it seeks to identify the main issues related to diversity in the audiovisual sector.
The workshop will be held at the School of Humanities, Documentation, and Communication at Charles III University of Madrid.
