On January 30, 2015, UNESCO launched the sixth call for funding applications to the International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD) created under Article 18 of the Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions.

Key dates:

  • All funding applications must be submitted via the new online platform by April 15, 2015, at midnight Paris time.
  • Applications from public authorities and institutions and from NGOs will be examined by their respective national UNESCO commissions, which will make a preselection by May 15, 2015, at midnight Paris time.

Since 2010, IFCD has funded 78 projects in 48 developing countries for a total investment of US$5.3 million.
